It is with very great pleasure that =96 after an = exam hiatus =96 we announce our final event of the = year:

Our Annual Garden Party will take place on the = final Friday of May Week (21 June), from 3pm-5pm in our now-traditional = venue of the Scholars=92 Garden of St John=92s College (a map is = available on our website, as linked below).

As = ever, we will have a wonderful array of fine wines on offer, with a = selection of delicious canap=E9s to complement them, strawberries with = cream, and a musical accompaniment to complete the atmosphere. The exact = wine line-up will remain something of a surprise, but I=92ve been = authorised to exclusively reveal that, after last year=92s roaring = success, we can expect a sparkling component to kick off with three = different wines, including: Champagne Pol Roger from Magnum; = Lacourte-Godbillon, the Premier Cru Champagne who only recently visited = us; and a brand new English sparkling wine, just launched last week = amidst a flurry of praise from consumers, the press, and the wine trade. = The winemakers of the English Sparkling hope to make an appearance at = the event, as their daughter is just finishing up at Corpus. Other = treats will include some delicious Moscato d'Asti, Riesling, and a range = of superb summer-appropriate still wines, including some of our = favourites from recent years=92 tastings and = events.
There is no formal = dress-code and, as per usual, we provide the glasses; bring only = yourselves and, for speed of entry, a printed copy of your PayPal ticket = receipt. Tickets are =A323 for members and =A327 for = non-members.
Tickets have gone = on sale on our website just moments ago (www.cuws.co.uk/events) =96 the = garden=92s capacity is large, so we don=92t anticipate an immediate = sell-out, but they won=92t last forever =96 so we look forward to seeing = as many of you as possible to bring our May Weeks to a = close!
