history-ecsoc-workshop - Cambridge Workshop in Economic and Social History

Subject: Cambridge Workshop in Economic and Social History

Description: The Economic and Social History postgraduate-led training event features research on a range of social or economic topics from any time period or geographic region. We encourage research that employs either qualitative or quantitative methodology, and considers any aspect of social or economic policy, historical demography, political economy, labour movements, financial institutions, or histories of poverty and welfare.

Presentations are roughly twenty minutes in length and might be works in progress or completed projects. These are followed by a half-an-hour question and answer session, which seeks to provide an informal and constructive atmosphere for discussion and feedback. The workshops are regularly well attended by both students and faculty members from a range of disciplines.

Alternating Mondays from 1pm-2pm (lunch provided!)

See our twitter account @EconomicandSoc2 for our term cards and upcoming presentations.
